Everyone
learns Tai Chi, Qigong and Yoga at their own pace, the same choreography
is used for the first time beginners as for the decades experienced
practitioner. And, our instructors are highly skilled at working with
individuals and their needs within a group setting; therefore, you
will find in all cases, all classes have students of broad skill range.
However, the following distinctions may be useful for those seeking
the practice for the first time or for those wishing to define their
progress within our school structure.
| Basics |
Specific
instruction for relaxation, alignment and basic choreography
of a form. Students will begin to experience energy flow and
mental focus. Though geared for beginners, all levels are highly
encouraged to attend. The stronger the basics, the stronger
the advancement. |
| All
Levels |
Attention
to relaxation and alignment, building the choreography of a
form, clarifying transitions, deepening energy flow and mind
focus. Beginners are welcome and may enjoy combining this class with a "basics" class for a faster progression. |
| Intermediate |
Focus
on the energetic distinctions in a form, greater kinesthetic
awareness of structure, deeper energetic and mental flow states and interactive practice.
Assumes a home practice. |
